Tiana Mammoser

Tiana is a passionate early childhood educator, with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, and a Masters degree in Education. Prior to her most recent experience teaching third grade, she spent years in the preschool environment, which she describes as her “true home.” Tiana recently completed her Forest School Teacher Training Certificate from the Forest School Training Institute in Tennessee, and is working towards full Montessori certification. She is a mother of two, an avid outdoor enthusiast, and is highly motivated to nurture childrens’ innate desire to learn and connect with nature.

Britney Weaver

Britney is a northern Michigan native with a lifelong love of everything outdoors. She graduated with a B.S. Wildlife Management & Conservation Biology from Lake Superior State University, and has been bringing nature education to children for several years through various outreach programs. Britney is seeking Montessori certification, and leads the nature-based programming for the Sundrop classroom.

Hope Reno

Hope is currently finishing her degree in Early Childhood Development at Delta College. She previously taught Pre-K at a private school near Seattle, Washington, before moving back to Michigan. While living in Washington, she did WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) farming on various homesteads to get hands-on experience with hugelkultur and permaculture. Now living back in Northern Michigan, she is working on restoring a generational farmhouse with dreams of developing a food forest. Some of her hobbies include hiking with her dogs, kayaking, reading, and spending as much time in nature as possible.

Sarah Vinyard

Sarah is a Roscommon native who served nine years active duty in the United States Air Force in the field of Environmental Control. She graduated from Central Michigan University majoring in sociology and psychology, with a focus on youth and adolescent studies. Her love of working with and mentoring children drew her to work in the local school districts. Sarah is passionate about Northern Michigan flora and fauna, is a wife and mother of three boys, and takes care of her pets which include: chickens, a cat, bunny, red-footed tortoise, a green cheeked conure, and a goldfish. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with her boys.
