Tuition and Scholarships
Sundrop Primary
The 2026-27 yearly tuition for Sundrop Primary is $7,650 per student. There is a 5% discount if you pay in full at the start of the year, and we also offer income-based scholarships. Tuition costs go directly towards paying our dedicated teachers.

Sundrop Explorers Academy
Our mixed-age, nature-based Montessori program offers lower elementary students (grades 1-3) a robust and revolutionary school experience. Rooted in the 100+ wild acres of Gahagan Nature Preserve, our curriculum emphasizes a hands-on and discovery-led approach to learning in our screen-free, educationally rich Montessori classroom. Full Time students attend Monday through Friday for a full school day (8:00am-3:00pm), and will receive academic instruction in all core subjects. Tuition for the 2026-27 school year is $300/month. Families under 500% of the FPL qualify for a 50% tuition discount.
For the remainder of the 2025-26 School Year, Sundrop Explorers offers a Forest Friday Homeschool Program for ages 6-12. This program operates every Friday at Gahagan from 8:30am-3:00pm. Enroll your child in our spring session (April 10-June 12) by clicking here.
Forest School After School
Includes after care from Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The cost for the 2025-26 school year is $14 per day for full-time students (Additional $10 for Early Release Days), and part-time or drop-in care is available for $16 per day.
Bus transportation available from Roscommon Elementary School, free of charge.

Our admissions team will notify you of your enrollment status within 7 days of applying. If your application is accepted, we will ask that you and your child attend one of our upcoming open houses to meet our teachers and tour the classroom.
Submit your enrollment deposit.
You will be invoiced for half of one month’s tuition (applied to the final month of school for that academic year) in order to secure your spot for the school year. If you qualify for tuition assistance, the deposit amount will be lower depending on the scholarship you are awarded. Your spot in the classroom is not guaranteed until you have paid the enrollment deposit. You may also pay for the entire school year in full and receive a 5% discount. We accept checks made payable to The Sundrop School, or cash.

Open houses are for interested families to tour the classroom and nature space, and meet the teaching staff. Please reach out to director@sundropmontessori.com for more information on upcoming open houses.
